This project is based on a semester-long, team-based consumer research study analyzing Bostic Sugg Furniture, a family-owned retailer in Greenville, NC. Building on group assignments including qualitative review analysis, consumer interviews, perception audits, and survey design, I synthesized the research into a final presentation focused on how customer service, communication, and online reviews influence consumer trust and purchasing behavior. Key findings revealed a gap between strong product quality and inconsistent service, as well as the significant role of online reviews in high-involvement purchases. From these insights, I developed a strategic recommendation to improve post-purchase communication through order tracking, follow-ups, and clearer delivery expectations to strengthen customer trust and loyalty. This work demonstrates my ability to interpret collaborative research, apply consumer behavior frameworks, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
